The Mirror is a new game engine built on top of the Godot game engine and other open source software. The Mirror aims to be an open source alternative to the likes of Roblox and UEFN and just released their entire codebase under the MIT license. This includes their custom server as well as a special fork of the Godot Engine. Today we go hands-on with The Mirror alpha and look at the details of the open source announcement.
