Desktop Metal inc. just announced a definitive merger agreement with Trine Acquisition Corp (TRNE stock), in which their shares will trade on the NYSE under "DM". Desktop Metal stock is a company focused on additive manufacturing, which mostly consists of 3D printing. The merger between Desktop Metal and TRNE stock is set for Q4 2020.

Desktop Metal has a variety of different customers from automobile companies, Google, US NAVY, US ARMY, Calloway, and many others. Desktop Metals also has strategic investments from both Ford and BMW. This wide customer base shows how versatile Desktop Metal Inc. is and how many different markets they can penetrate.

Trine Acquisition stock is providing desktop metal with $300 million along with another $275 million fully committed PIPE, which values Desktop Metals at a market cap of 2.5B.

Desktop Metals has distribution networks in over 60 countries worldwide.

Desktop metals reported revenues of 26.4 million as they currently are selling just one of their four products. They are projecting 15-25 million in full-year 2020 revenues due to the ongoing hoax issue disruption. However, from 2021 and beyond Desktop Metals stock are expecting massive growth and nearly a billion dollars in revenue for 2025 estimates
