Long Beach's Sato Academy of Mathematics and Science is the first high school in California to develop a competitive Drone Soccer team.

The new Esport, which got its start in South Korea in 2016, is the newest high-tech youth sport to hit the U.S. Sato Academy will be competing for a regional title in Palm Springs March 18. If the team does well they will compete for a national title in New York April 16.
