This car drives as pretty as it looks. The RS7 is blessed with a throaty V-8, which is becoming an endangered species. With a 600hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8, the car was developed to do 305 kph on the autobahn, which translates to a 190-mph top speed with the Dynamic Plus package. The additional 40hp over the previous RS7's powertrain should shoot the car from 0 to 100 in 3.6 seconds.

The 2020 RS 7 lives up to Audi's reputation for designing some of the best interiors in the business. I liked the optional red-trimmed seatbelts, stitching, and lighting. The sport seats are heated and ventilated for the first time but lack a massaging function. You can get Audi's Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, flat-bottomed leather steering wheel with shift paddles, and optional trim in carbon, wood, or aluminium for the look that best suits your personality.

Come into a corner, hot, and bang down three gears and you get three perfectly timed throttle blips at just the right volume. For sure you can feel the car’s weight but it’s so well balanced that you can throw it into a corner (even a hairpin) as you would a hot hatch and it won’t bite. The big thing at play here is the RS 7's all-wheel steering, tuned specifically for the RS quattro sport differential. Easy as, even when you're pushing.

This is a wickedly quick car that has few if any weaknesses.
