Welcome to my kpop + BTS video essay series, "Academic K-pop Analysis"! Today I discuss BTS, Korean Culture, Westernization, and cultural authenticity. Is adopting Western culture corrupting BTS' Korean roots? Or are they the pinnacle of authentic Korean culture? Or does any of this matter?
