The recent inclement British weather means we're confined to the relative comforts of the workshop once again this week, but that's no bad thing with the number of interesting jobs currently on the go. For this episode, the main focus is on a 'Ferrari' Dino 246 GT that Iain has had the pleasure of working on for several decades so one he holds particularly close to his heart. He is therefore delighted that he and his team have been tasked with a full restoration and as the car is stripped down, it reveals some of its history and the great care clearly taken by its one previous owner.

Iain chats with Craig about the careful restoration work that will be undertaken on the 'mousehair' dashboard, and then speaks with new-recruit Leon about the engine strip-down which has revealed components in truly remarkable condition for a car of this age and mileage.

No recent workshop catchup episode would be complete without at least one mention of a Countach and whilst the cameras were away the ignition issues for the US black Countach 5000 QV have apparently been fixed, so it's time to try starting it up and seeing how well it's running.
