8400 series U-cups for pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders are especially suited for low speed, low pressure situations. They provide an extremely smooth steady movement, with less breakaway force required because of their inherent low friction.

Standard material for 8400 series U-cups is 80 durometer nitrile, with a temperature range of -40º to 250º F. However, other materials such as FKM, nitroxiles, and ethylene propylene are available. 8400 series U-cups may be used at pressures up to 800 PSI with proper clearances, without back-up rings; and up to 2500 PSI with back-up rings.

Temperature: -40°F to 250°F
