Ghars Water Well بئر غرس

The well of Gars is located in the blessed city of Medina, near the Quba Mosque and Salman Al-Farisi Park. Prophet sallallal lahu alihiwasalam drank from its water and performed ablution from the well.

On the authority of the blessed companion Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When I die, wash me with seven skins from the well of the planting. As he used to drink from this well.” [Ibn Majah].

عن الصحابي المبارك علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (إِذَا مُتَ اغْسِلُنِي بِسَبْعَةِ جلودٍ مِنْ بِئْرِ الغَرْس. كما اعتاد أن يشرب من هذه البئر ". [ابن ماجه].
