Hives or Utiricia are swollen, small, pale red bumps or larger patches that suddenly appear on the skin with severe itching usually. Hives can be allergic or non allergic. Allergic hives are triggered by an overreaction of the immune system to certain things, most commonly foods (nuts, shellfish), insect stings and bites.

Symptoms include itching, or less often burning or stinging; raised, often red, swellings; and separate swellings that usually go away in 24 hours, but new ones often appear as the old ones disappear.

DO's
✔️ Soothe your Skin by taking cool showers or applying a cool pack.
✔️ One of the triggers is Stress. Practice Meditations or take deep breaths to control Stress.
✔️ Avoid consuming Milk and Eggs since they can trigger Hives.
✔️ Protect yourself against insect bites.
✔️ Avoid touching pollens.

DON'TS
✖️ Rubbing your Skin vigorously or using the towel after shower.
✖️ Scratching your skin because this can make the hives worse.
✖️ Consuming Allergic Food.
✖️ Exposing yourself to sun as it can trigger your Hives.
✖️ Consuming Peanuts and Shellfish as they are most common allergic food.

In case of difficulty in breathing or swallowing, seek medical attention immediately.
