Southern California’s Monise family is synonymous with the British heritage cars. Frank, Sr., started working on the cars just after World War 2, being one of the few mechanics comfortable working with MGs, Jags, and Triumphs. The English itch never left the family, carrying on for two generations. We met up with Frank, Jr. and his son, Greg, to talk about the shop’s history, the qualities of an MG, and why anyone would try to turn a Magnette into a race car.
