A Skáld was a person who would travel across the land playing music and singing old poetry or ''Kvæði'' from the old Nordic myths and folklore about the Norse gods. They weren't only entertainers but essentially teachers and storytellers. Kvæðamaðr aims to give you the feeling that a Skáld has visited your home and is singing his songs to you with only his Lyre, Taglharpa and Drum to aid him.
