How to Configure the account in Active Campaign.

The first step after setting up an account in an active campaign, the next step is to configure it.

To do so, there are a number of important settings that one needs to make sure that they are in place.

The first setting to be put into place is the address, Click on the address and add an address to the active campaign account. This enables one to send emails. By law every email must have a physical address at the bottom of it.

The address can be added by selecting the tab on the right top corner and address can be added. The other fields need to be filled such as country name, company name, address, and the postal code. One can add multiple addresses and select one address as a default address.

Once the address is added go to the website icon from the options given on the left for selecting the next setting. The next setting to work on is to ensure on site tracking. Click on the site tracking to turn it on by enabling it. Once it is enabled the site tracking will be on.

Here, the domain name to be written in the space given for the website url. One can also add multiple websites or domain names by clicking on the add tab. The code mentioned below on the tracking code field, can be copied and pasted into the footer of the website. By doing this,one will be tracked in an active campaign whenever people visit their website.

Next setting to enable for tracking is Event tracking. Any event can be tracked in Active Campaign, just make sure it is in the enable position. These are the two important settings used in configuring the accounts.
