On 15 December 1998, Queen Elizabeth II; Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother; Prince Charles, Prince of Wales; and Princess Anne, Princess Royal came together to help decorate the Christmas tree in Buckingham Palace. With decorations having been made by members of the public, and the tree's angel created by fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, the royals were visibly impressed by the outcome.
