The City of Cape Town has issued an appeal to people who are traveling long distances this Easter weekend. They are requesting that drivers have their vehicles checked before hitting the road to ensure their safety. The city has initiated Operation Exodus, which has resulted in over 800 vehicles being stopped and over 860 drivers being screened.
