It is an LED torch light. Due to the battery problem of this light, it does not charge properly. Therefore its light is very low and transient.
Today I will make a battery pack for this light.
The battery in this light is basically three 1.2 volt batteries connected in series to make 3.6 volts. I will discard these cells and make a 3.7 volt battery pack which will work very well.
To make this battery pack I took 2 good quality 3.7 volt lithium ion batteries. I took a half inch PVC pipe about the same size as the previous battery pack to cover the battery. Removed the high metal part that stuck to the positive end from the previous battery. Just stuck the high metal part to the positive end of a 3.7 volt battery with a heating iron. This high metal part will work well to connect the torch light circuit. Now I glued a perforated cap to the positive end of the PVC pipe.
I took 2 pieces of copper super wire to connect the two batteries in parallel. I connected the wire to the negative end of one battery and another wire to the positive end of the other battery. After connecting it, I stuck non-conductive adhesive paper on the ends of the two batteries to prevent short circuit. Now I stuck the ends of these two batteries side by side.
Now connect the positive end of this battery to the positive end of the other battery and the negative end of the same battery to the negative end of the other battery. Here, this cable is used to place two batteries one on top of the other, which basically made a single 3.7 volt powerful battery pack by connecting the two batteries in parallel.
Now I used adhesive tape where necessary to hold the two batteries well. Now put the battery inside the PVC pipe. Diameter, resulting in a powerful 3.7 volt battery pack suitable for use with a 3.7 volt flashlight.
I spray painted the body of the torch light black to give the light as factory look.
Now I installed the new battery pack in the torch light. Now I am testing the performance of the battery pack.
Wow! Hopefully the battery pack will work great. By switching in the dark at night I am getting the desired light focus.
