Tesla Model Y has two trim levels: Performance and Long Range. While the Performance is a rocket (0-60 MPH in 3.5 sec), the Long Range is respectably fast as well (0-60 MPH in 4.8 sec). Recently, an Acceleration Boost upgrade became available for the Long Range; it will shaved about 0.5 seconds off the 0-60 MPH time. So is it still worth it to buy the Model Y Performance for $8,000 more**?
