Dubai... A city many dream of. For this former fishing port, the last twenty years have been synonymous with ascent. It's at the dawn of the 21st century that things start to change. Some see the city as the new Eldorado of the Middle East. Conversely, others see it as an artificial city, the cradle of the capitalist system and over-consumption. Whatever the case, Dubai is always in the news, not least because of its international development. The latter has been described as exceptional. Unfortunately, for many years, ecological concerns were not on the agenda. It's only now that the tide is turning. Dubai now aims to become a global model of innovation in the fight against global warming. And yet, many of Dubai's facilities fail to live up to our expectations when it comes to the environment. Can Dubai become a 100% green city? What about the Burj Khalifa, for example?
