Following a cryptic message from Tesla regarding my current Tesla Model 3 SR+ reservation, I think it is safe to say that the China format Model 3 will be making its way into the U.S.

I just received an email that stated if I did not wish to wait until the end of the year for my Model 3 SR+, I would have the option to accept a Model 3 SR+ with the same battery pack found in the MIC Model 3 SR+

This Model 3 will come with the LFP battery pack, which will be rated with 10 less miles at 253 EPA estimate. In addition, there are format differences between the NMC format cells used vs the LFP format.

Should you accept an earlier delivery for a China Made Model 3 or should you hold on to your reservation as is?

In addition, we just learned yesterday that Elon Musk is targeting 4 weeks for wide public release of FSD Beta. Although Elon has not been on time with many promises like this, it will be interesting to see if those who have FSD will finally have access to the features they paid for.
