There are easier ways to fit a neck joint, but this method brings our acoustic guitars as close as possible to resonating as if they were built from a single piece of wood. Hide glue, used in conjunction with the compound dovetail neck joint, creates a tighter bond the more pressure that is applied. When coupled with nitrocellulose lacquer, Gibson acoustic guitars evolve and improve over time, maturing alongside you to become a cherished heirloom piece.
