š In todays review we check out the all new 2022 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition! This is a trim level for the TRX that only has 1,000 units being produced! Really aside from the unique color and the interior stitching for the seats, those are the only differences for this Sandblast Edition! Kind of a gimmick for little changes, but a cool color and model! This has the Supercharged V8 right out of the Hellcat Charger and Challenger and is off road focused! The 2022 RAM TRX can handle jumps, baja runs, deep water and mud, and snow! The Ram TRX also features launch control and can be a muscle truck out on the roads! The 702 HP supercharged V8 packs a punch and you can hear the supercharger whine! I love that V8 exhaust rumble too! The functional beadlock wheels, 35in tires and all the black accents really make the TRX stand out and dwarf even the Ford Raptor! This is 8in wider then the standard RAM 1500 and looks amazing! The interior is your fully loaded RAM with all the leather and alcantara trim. Premium audio system and the massive touch screen infotainment screen in the center. The paddle shifters are also really large and tie in the performance look. Driving the new 2022 TRX was fun! The power is very useful and really can put you back in your seat! The handling can adapt to be super soft for off roading but then tightens up a lot in Sport mode and feels pretty planted.
The owner really didn't have anything negative to say about this Ram truck and has owned two Ford Raptors as well to compare, and absolutely loves this Ram TRX a lot more! It's a sweet daily driving, performance oriented and offroad focused truck that can do it all!
