This video scenario is from the RACP Ethics online course. Ethics gives us a language to discuss and question how we should act in our clinical practice, but it doesn’t always give us a clear answer. This scenario demonstrates the relevance and importance of ethical questions in our practice, and also invites us to reflect on our own culture and the importance of undertaking shared decision making with patients from different cultural backgrounds.
