Mrs Aabha Singh is a government teacher from Allahabad who has been suffering from kidney disease since October 2021. One of her friends suggested Dr L.K. Jha, Director, Nephrology, Dharamshila Narayana Hospital, Delhi, for further treatment. Let us hear Aabha’s inspiring story.

I came to Narayana Hospital and met Dr Jha; after running proper tests and diagnosis, he confirmed my condition and told me to undergo dialysis. I was very confused regarding dialysis and kidney transplant, but Dr Jha played a crucial role, and he made me understand the different aspects of dialysis and kidney transplantation. After several discussions and planning, I was ready for the transplant. After stabilising my condition, we agreed to a kidney transplant. My mother donated her kidney, and after all the necessary tests and diagnoses. I underwent a successful kidney transplant.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Dr Jha and Dharamshila Narayana Hospital for giving me another life.
