Murray and Austin Mayor Steve Adler were among hundreds who gathered to celebrate the life of Richard Overton of Austin, who at 112 was America’s oldest man and the nation’s oldest WWII veteran, at a public funeral at Shoreline Church on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2018. Overton died on December 27, 2018.
