Sagi and Omer were supposed to get married on October 20.

On October 7, Sagi an elite officer in the IDF didn't think twice and went to rescue victims.

He didn't come home.

This week, the Knesset amended a law recognizing Sagi and all LGBTQ partners of fallen soldiers.

"I asked him not to be a hero. He told me in only 6 days we will be married."
