A little over a month after its debut in Japan, the all-new fully-imported 2022 Toyota Voxy has just been launched in Indonesia, making the archipelago the second country to launch the baby Vellfire.

The new Voxy looks more contemporary with the significant design changes seen on the front as well as rear. Dominating the extreme face of the boxy MPV is a new superjumbo grille with five horizontal blades whose edges are finished in a chromium layer. The headlights also get a new design along with narrow-style daytime running lights.

The rear end features the new horizontally designed tail lights and the Voxy logo right in the middle of the tailgate. The Indo-spec Toyota Voxy also gets a Dual Sliding Door feature with a new kick sensor, which means you just have to move your foot under the door to open it. Also part of the kit is a power backdoor that comes with a side button.

In terms of dimensions, the new Voxy is 4,695 mm long, 1,730 mm wide, and 1,855 mm high. The wheelbase and ground clearance measure 2,850 mm and 150 mm, respectively.

The interior design is also refined. Still using materials with dark colors, the interior looks luxurious. Although the seats are still made of fabric, there is a touch of leather present on the door trim that doesn't take away the impression of the latest Voxy premium. In addition, the seats can also be adjusted more freely to suit the needs of passengers. One of them is the sofa mode that connects the second and third row seats and the bed mode to rest after a long journey.

Another interesting feature is the presence of an 11.6-inch entertainment screen on the roof for the convenience of second-row passengers. The latest Voxy also gets wireless charging, panoramic view monitor and electric parking brake with auto brake hold feature. The modern impression comes from the 7-inch TFT meter cluster screen and the head-up display to view vehicle speed information.

Powering the new Toyota Voxy is a 2.0-litre Dynamic Force engine that kicks out a maximum power output of 170 PS at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 202 Nm at 4,900 Nm. The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a Direct-Shift CVT automatic gearbox.

The All New Voxy is offered in White pearl, glitter black, sparkling black pearl, and metal stream colors. Especially for the sparkling black pearl and metal stream colors, they get special treatment with an indent time of up to three months depending on the factory conditions.

Toyota gives a tag of 558.2 million Indonesian rupiah for the Voxy which is offered in one variant.
