Jermaine Jackson was riding on a career high after the success of the Emmy winning mini series 'The Jacksons: An American Dream', when his brother Michael's life went into turmoil after being accused of child abuse in the summer of 1993. Jermaine and his whole family rallied round Michael to get him through the allegations, in hopes he would pay them back by appearing in their Jackson Honors TV special.

However, the family overpromised leaving fans and executives disappointed with the programmes final outcome, resulting in a legal, personal and career downturn for Jermaine. Maybe he could make a final comeback with a reunion with his brothers? But crucially would Michael join them as well?
