No Time to Die is a spy film released in 2021 by Eon Productions. It is the twenty-fifth installment in the James Bond franchise. It stars Daniel Craig as fictional British MI6 agent James Bond for the fifth and final time. Cary Joji Fukunaga directs the film, which is based on a screenplay by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah also star, with Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear, and Ralph Fiennes reprising their roles from earlier films.

In this film, Bond, who has retired from M I 6, is enlisted by the CIA to locate a kidnapped scientist, which leads to a confrontation with a formidable foe.

In 2016, work on the project began. It is the first Bond picture distributed by Universal Pictures, who took over the international distribution rights after Sony Pictures' contract expired with the release of Spectre in 2015. United Artists Releasing owns the North American rights, as well as the worldwide digital and broadcast rights; Universal owns the physical home media rights worldwide. Originally, Danny Boyle was set to direct and co-write the screenplay with John Hodge. Due to creative differences, both left in August 2018, and Fukunaga was revealed as Boyle's replacement a month later. By April of this year, the majority of the cast had signed contracts. Under the working title Bond 25, principal photography took place from April to October 2019. In August of this year, the final title was revealed.

After being delayed by Boyle's departure and later by the COVID-19 epidemic, No Time to Die had its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 28 September 2021, and was released in cinemas on 30 September 2021 in the UK and on 8 October 2021 in the US. The film has so far grossed 528 million dollars worldwide, making it the fifth highest-grossing film of 2021. It got generally positive reviews, with many believing it to be a fitting conclusion to Craig's role as Bond.
