Back in the 1980s, the Brat Pack was riding high, and one of their charter members was Emilio Estevez. The son of Martin Sheen and brother of Charlie Sheen, for a long time he was the biggest star to emerge from the group. Probably his two biggest films were the Young Guns movies. The first film, which came out in 1988, paired Estevez with his brother and an all-star cast, including Lou Diamond Phillips and Kiefer Sutherland. The movie was a big hit and led to a sequel which was meant to end the saga of Estevez’s William Bonney, aka Billy The Kid. Yet, more than thirty years later, Estevez is considering revisiting the character, so now’s a good time to revisit these two classic westerns, which hold up really well all these years later.
