Hidden Cost of Truck Ownership. 3/4 ton F250 and 1-ton F350 ownership hidden cost. Here in Pennsylvania, our vehicle registration costs/fees keep increasing. In this video, we talk about the registration costs for a truck with GVWR weights from 5000 lbs and up. Each classification is a different rate. We currently have our F350 registered at class 4B, which is 10,000 to 11,000 lbs. Our truck could actually be registered as a class 5, with a GVWR of 11,500 lbs. We live in Northwestern PA and have around 70 Acres of Land, in the middle of family homestead land from more than 4 generations back. We have one daughter, one rescued Great Dane, and one cat.
