Google just announced more job cuts in 2024 as the layoffs in corporate America continue. With the proliferation of AI and programs like ChatGBT now at the center of some of these mass layoffs.

The more that these corporations lay off workers, the greater the chance America eventually enters a recession. In fact - the country could already be in a recession based on the big decline in growth of white collar workers over the last year.

With companies like Amazon, Blackrock, and Citigroup also announced big layoffs lately. And a language learning startup called Duolingo laying off 10% of its staff and directly attributing the layoffs to AI.
