The Maverick slots in underneath the Ranger, as the smallest truck in Ford's lineup. This one uses a unibody, rather than a body on frame setup, so it's more crossover-like in terms of ride. And while it doesn't have a full-sized bed, it still has a very usable 54" (33 cu ft) bed with a 1,200 lb payload (Tremor) capacity (1,500 in other trims), and it can tow up to 2,000 lbs (4,000 lb optional package in other trims). Underneath the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder (EcoBoost) that makes a respectable 250-hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. An optional hybrid powertrain is available as well. This thing is a DIYers dream, as it has slots and cubbies and nooks and crannies and can be customized in just about any way you want it to be. Let's go ahead and take a look.
