Do you have a LEGO Boost? I've finally decided to buy one and they are a lot of fun. I think LEGO has found the right mix of creativity and usability. And once you unlock tools for your tool box you can make your own LEGO robots.

Plus, you can make some cool robots as part of the standard app and the programming interface is a lot easier than Mindstorms so there's that too.

The only down side is the limitations to sensors, but you can control 3 motors and one light/distance sensor so that's not too shabby.
