Denny Hamlin and Jared Allen go straight from the racetrack to the studio on Sunday night after Denny’s triumphant victory at Bristol for another thrilling episode of Actions Detrimental.

They start the show recapping the Craftsman Truck Series Race and the Nick Sanchez / Stuart Friesen disagreement. We’ll stop short of calling it a “fight.”

Next, they discuss Kyle Busch’s cold streak and what may be contributing to his recent struggles, along with his interview with Pat McAfee.

Denny then analyzes the impact of the track surface change on the NASCAR Cup Series race and the tire wear challenges that all led to an exciting race on the Bristol concrete. During the show, he tries to work out what changed that may have contributed the to the excessive tire wear – Goodyear’s compound, the track temp, PJ1 vs. resin, etc. Denny also talks through his race from an early tire issue to tire conservation and how that played into his big win, locking him into the NASCAR Playoffs.
