Killers of the Flower Moon Review by Sucharita Tyagi - "Killers Of the Flower Moon" focuses primarily on its prominent movie star, Leonardo DiCaprio. Ernest, a World War 1 veteran with a penchant for women and money, becomes central to the plot. His uncle exploits these characteristics to orchestrate a grand scheme to embezzle the Osage's money, without foreseeing the potential consequences of this serpent eventually devouring its own tail.

Ernest, despite his name, lacks sincerity and possesses a simplistic mindset, making it surprisingly easy for the master manipulator, Bill Hale, to manipulate him into doing his nefarious bidding. Through their relationship, the film illustrates how the federal government had facilitated the actions of these white men, allowing them to act with impunity. Even someone as simpleminded as Ernest managed to execute large-scale theft, seemingly within the bounds of the law.

It's worth noting that both actors deliver outstanding performances in their respective roles. "Killers Of the Flower Moon" offers a gripping narrative, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Ernest showcasing their acting prowess.

Killers of the Flower Moon is a 2023 American Western crime drama film directed and produced by Martin Scorsese, who co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Roth, based on the 2017 book of the same name by David Grann. Its plot centers on a series of Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation during the 1920s, committed after oil was discovered on tribal land. Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone lead an ensemble cast that includes Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow, and Brendan Fraser. It is the sixth feature film collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio and the tenth between Scorsese and De Niro.
