The United States Navy Blue Angels conducted a routine winter training practice over NAF El Centro, CA on 3/6/2021. The team conducted a 5 ship practice with Blue Angel 6, Lcdr. Cary Rickoff, absent for unknown reasons. At the end of the Fleur Des Lis, Blue Angel 4 Lcdr. James Cox, experienced a mechanical issue with his aircraft and opted to safely land on RWY 30. With the Super Hornet transition in full swing, the team is down to their final week of training in the Imperial Valley and will be returning home to NAS Pensacola, FL soon.

Note:
You will notice the audio sounds a bit muffled at times either with the wind or even the sound of the jets. I made the cardinal sin of setting the gain on my auxiliary microphone to auto instead of manually adjusting for the input. My bad!
