Today we review Toyota Yaris Cross 2021. Check our in depth review.

The long-anticipated small SUV Toyota Yaris Cross built on the Mk4 Toyota Yaris has been announced publicly. By the end of this year, the all-new sub-compact SUV will hit Japan and Europe in 2021. The Toyota Yaris is a compact hybrid car that combines a sleek look with tremendous fuel efficiency and a supremely satisfying drive. Many compact SUVs that it can defeat include the Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur, and Volkswagen T-Cross plus our Ford Puma 2020 Car of the Year.

In 2012, after three years of slow sales, Toyota withdrew its last small SUV, the Urban Cruiser. However, the assumption that its name made it seem like the kind of person specializing in suspicious nighttime actions has probably not boosted its reputation. However, in this rapidly transforming age, these cars are in tremendous demand, that is why the Japanese company has just launched a successor: The Toyota Yaris Cross 2021.
Toyota has unveiled its latest Yaris Cross SUV. As its name indicates, it is directly connected to the Yaris hatchback fourth generation, which is expected to go on sale this autumn. But much as you wouldn't confuse a competing Nissan Juke for a Micra, the Yaris Cross gets its timeless quality with the two versions providing something in common technologically. The new Toyota Yaris Cross 2021 will now be the shortest and most economical SUV in the brand. Here's what you need to learn about it.
New Toyota Yaris Cross 2021 - Exterior
Though it's just a hatchback variant, the Toyota Yaris Cross looks like an absolute SUV. A substantial ground clearance, high-set hood, prominent nose, broad wheel arches, a fantastic beltline, and a virtually flat roofline play a significant role in giving this perfect SUV appearance.
The latest Toyota Yaris Cross takes the new Yaris city car's dainty form and adds loads of SUV style indications. For example, the noisy front-end and curved grille look quite close to those on the larger Toyota RAV4 while the corresponding, squared-off wheel arches are typical of other clumpy SUVs.

Captivating with a gold and black two-shade colors, the style of the Toyota Yaris cross shows a flawless, sculpted body characterized by long and solid lines. Notable instances extend around the car's flanks, from its headlights to wing mirrors, around the wheel's arches, and as a belt between the door handles.
Based on the TNGA platform GA-B variant, the Toyota Yaris Cross 2021 is 4,180 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, and 1,560 mm high. The original hatchback has 2.560 mm wheelbases, but it has ground clearance, 30 mm taller, and 240 mm broader overall.
Longitudinal air vents under the headlights and high reflectors on the rear bumper help make the latest Toyota Yaris Cross appear more prominent than the Kia Xceed and Renault Captur. However, the contrasting black roof prevents it from looking too large. It's not really what you might traditionally consider attractive, but it's still eye-catching – and isn't that the purpose of an SUV?
New Toyota Yaris Cross 2021 - Interior
Unlike the exterior, the interior of the current Toyota Yaris Cross 2021 seems quite like the standard Yaris. There is a separate touch screen infotainment display just above ventilation and air conditioning controls on the dashboard. The air vents are efficiently incorporated into an angled portion of the upper dashboard spanning the cabin distance.

The touch screen infotainment system continues to be the same, suggesting inconsistent responses and obsolete displays. Still, you get useful shortcut keys, and thanks to the inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Automobile mirroring, you can bypass Toyota's software.
In the traditional Yaris hatchback, you get two circular speedometers and rev-counter dials that have been substituted by a wide semi-circular speedometer with a leading digital display flanked by two additional readouts. They are all outlined in blue – just as in other electric vehicles.
You may not find vibrant colored detailing like the standard dashboard inserts in a VW T-Cross. Instead, Yaris Cross's interior is a steadier mix of greys, blacks, and blues with a few metal-effect silver trims to render the spot brighter.
The SUV crossover has a larger capacity and provides a more spacious interior. A wide touch screen above the dashboard features extensively in the dark style. The deep, clear blue light, therefore, accentuates the design of the cabin. The back seats consist of a split-folding bench and a removable boot floor toward the rear. Also, there is a flex belt system which keeps the luggage safe.
