Hey guys.. weird video and not my usual content. I'm currently staying in Rio De Janiero and had a really bizarre experience that turned into a robbery.

Don't get me wrong, Rio is still the most beautiful city in the world (and I've travelled a lot). But I've been coming here for 6 years and things are changing.

It's a lot more dangerous and I've been robbed twice in the two weeks I've been here (the other time someone stole my watch at the beach, but it was a cheap plastic $5 one).

It's not so much a problem with Brazil as just this city. My time in Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte was amazing and I felt safe at all times.

Rio is a strange city though. During the day it's vibrant and safe. But even though there's many people around there can be sudden crime by the poor people from the favela's.

Last year I had a little kid of about 14 try and steal my phone while walking in Ipanema. I was on the street in the middle of the day, many people around, and he came up to me with a broken bottle acting like he was going to stab me. He grabbed for my phone but I kicked him away. Then he ran off and stole a phone from someone else.

Generally I'm a very positive person (and I do love this city), but I might have to rethink coming here in the future which is a huge shame.
