The history of Paraquat is similar to that of other substances used in agriculture: suspected of being the cause of some neurological diseases, Paraquat has been banned in many countries that produce it, but it's still traded in states where legislation is more permissive. In India, the stories linked to this killer herbicide have taken a tragic turn because it is used as a means of suicide.
