A man called Louis Winthorpe III gets to Duke & Duke Commodity Brokers, a firm of which he’s the CEO, owned by the brothers Randolph and Mortimer Duke. One day, Randolph sees a scientist who is acknowledged for finding that how successful a man is depends mostly on environment and not genes. He makes a bet with his brother Mortimer that they can put Louis on the street and make him poor, and at the same time make a homeless person the CEO of their company and a successful man. Mortimer takes the bet, and as Louis’s world is turned upside down, a homeless man called Valentine becomes one of the most prominent men on Wall Street…
