On Ethan's birthday he was somewhat melancholy, perhaps antsy about seeing his friends and the celebration, but he did not want to go swimming. Instead, he opted to bob around in the inflatable pool basketball hoop (Hoop Shark) which he seemed to enjoy relaxing in. This, however, was like dangling a shot of scotch in front of an alcoholic for Papa who was practically dripping with nefarious intent whilst the innocent boy floated around...just begging to get dunked. BUT...it was his birthday and Papa was constrained by the family book of rules that clearly states that Papa's cannot dunk boys on their birthday. You might be wondering why Papa referred to Ethan as "George". Well, this is a reference to the Bug's Bunny episodes where the abominable snowman finds Bugs and "hugs him and squeezes him and calls him George" :)
