In this clip Hadrat Mufakkir al-Islam Shaykh Sayyid 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani explains that only the children of Sayyida Fatima [Salaman Alayha] are Sayyids [descendants of the Holy Prophet] and that kids of Imam 'Ali [Alaihis Salaam] which are not through Sayyida Fatima [Salamun Alayha] are not Sayyids.
