We had a crazy hot summer here in Perth, like many of you are experiencing where you are.

For a few days, we enjoyed some tropical weather coming from the north. The rain was a welcome relief, but I also knew it could be a great opportunity to get out to the sand dunes near Cervantes in different conditions.

The weather didn't disappoint, I had a good amount of cloud cover to catch some colour and the damp sand created more contrast and therefore potentially more interest in the foreground.

The challenge was finding a decent composition in the chaos of sand dunes, plus not walking through scenes and leaving footprints. 🤦🏻‍♂️
