Evolution of warfare from the Fall of the Western Roman Empire to the Battle of Hastings. Due to the lack of film materials I could find for this era, I had to pull out some footage from documentaries, some which had horrifying qualities, please bear with me as the quality will improve for the Middle Ages, which has a wealth of good movies to pull from.
Also, since I am a huge fan of Sid Meier's Civilization, and Empress Theodora and Wu Zetian happens to be my favourite characters, I included them in the montage as well, although their contribution to warfare was limited. I also wanted to present that war and civilization goes hand in hand, thus I put in a special period of harmony in between the chaos of war.
