I wanted to briefly explain the difference between real espresso and the "espresso shots" made by the K-Café and the K-Latté. Although they are similar to espresso they are in actuality small portioned slow brewed coffee.

They do taste very similar to espresso when mixed into frothed milk but they are not a perfect replacement for a home espresso machine.
