Preparation work is well underway and new access roads across fields have been created at Heaton Lodge Junction near Mirfield in West Yorkshire. A new stretch of track will be installed to smooth off the corner and speed up trains between Huddersfield and Leeds as part of Network Rail's Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU). #Transpennine #trains #heatonlodge
