I bought the cheapest high-spec E-bike I could find off TaoBao for around $700 USD. Here's my take on the bike and a few specs below.

- Model Rurui G5 "racing edition"
-17amp battery 800kwh (massive!)
-300 km travel distance claimed. (Probably more like 100km on flats)
-top speed around 40kph (legit)
-21 gears
-Shimano hydraulic disk brakes
-27.5 inch wheels
-for riders up to 180cm (that's pushing it though)
