Honda calls the HR-V an SUV, but in reality it's a tall, Honda Civic-based station wagon that in Canada comes with AWD (all-wheel drive) on all but the least expensive models. The HR-V is a vast improvement over the last version, which was based on the lamentable Honda Fit.
The HR-V competes against the likes of the Toyota Corolla Cross and the Mazda CX-3.
