This video I will be replacing the seized TH350 kickdown cable on my 1978 Chevrolet C10. Just trying to fix a heavy throttle pedal, we find that the kickdown cable is not operating correctly when the throttle is actuated. Further digging leads to the problem being the cable outer jacket had melted and rusted internally seizing the cable. Watch as I tear into the removal of a stuck cable and replace with a new cable. Also run into issues with an aftermarket carburetor causing issues with the engagement of the new cable.
