This is part 2 of my work toward taking care of the valve lifters. I ran into unexpected rain showers which significantly reduced the time I had available to work. I am also having serious doubts about whether there was actually anything wrong with the lifter. I'm worred it may actually be a worn cam lobe. But, the new lifter is in place and I'm working my way through all the other 15 to disassemble and clean them. Hopefully I can finish this up tomorrow.
