Those of us who have had to wear patrol boots, or tactical boots as some call them, will know that they often do not mix with hot summer days. Prolonged wear tends to leave you with sweaty, swollen feet - never pleasant. Salomon have the solution. The Speed Assault II are the lightest footwear I have worn while still able to cope with rough terrain and gnarly environments. They are not a PPE option so if you need steel toecaps and sole plates these are not for you. If you are someone who requires a "high speed low drag" approach then these are where its at.
